Anne Teeking

A warm Spring day, full of tonnes of stuff to do:

Wow.  My arms still need a load of work.
THE LOOK: A great sunny day to wear some light clothing.  My top and pants were purchased this past weekend, from Gordman’s in the United States of America.  Both items were on clearance for $7 each.  I didn’t even bother to try them on in the store (bad Roxy).
I threw a thin 3/4 length vest over top, because the shirt has an odd cut that is higher in the back than in the front.  The vest just helped reassure that I wouldn’t be ‘cracking’ anywhere.  People might not appreciate that so much.
The pants are denim skinnies, with cargo pockets on each leg -- not something that I’m a huge fan of, but the zippers down by the ankle had “SOLD” written all over them:

As you can see in the photo above, I went with my black patent leather peekaboo heels, bought on clearance for $14 from DSW in Chicago a few years ago.

Went with these ‘harp style’ earrings that I just bought a few weeks ago from FOREVER 21.  The metal is gold, which didn’t match with anything, but with my hair down today, I figured it wouldn’t really matter much.

And even though it was the warmest day of the year, so far, in Winnipeg - I still pulled a jacket over everything, JUST IN CASE.  This is a French Connection corduroy jacket that I got on sale in Hamilton in 2006 -- I think I might’ve paid $40 for it.  LOVE the collar and the little poof shoulders :)

Here’s the outfit all pulled together

Now ask me how my feet felt in those shoes after rummaging through 4 floors of antiques...:S
